IWC Chronograph Variation JU-OXYGEN

The Ju-52 is actually a German tri- transport airplane it observed both military and private support during the 1930s and 1940s. Of only nine airworthy vintage JU-52s leftover worldwide, one has taken the IWC brand for 2 decades and, inside the year 2000, started out on the circumnavigation of the planet to publicise a IWC Pilot’s View.

Currently, in honour of the airline specially recognized to maintain the vintage airplane aloft, the IWC Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Release “JU-AIR”, using a limited release of 500 watches, is not unready for takeoff.

With four Ju-52’s inside their fleet, JU-ATMOSPHERE, located in Situated In Dübendorf near Zurich, is employed for flights in Europe. Assisting the airline for the past 20 years, IWC has harvested a collaboration with JU-AIR based on the shared appreciation of the Ju-52 aircraft, one among which happily shows the IWC logo.

The honor to the Junkers Ju-52 plane is one of the “Spitfire” line. It’s there watch driven by the self-winding a 43 mm stainlesssteel pilot’s 89365 calibre with 68 hours of power reserve. This mechanical activity made solely inhouse, comes with a time show, a purpose, modest coughing seconds, together with a chronograph. The watch occurs a dark alligator strap with a stainless folding buckle.

The call of the watch is rhodium-coated to the Junkers Ju’s gold coloring -52 jet in reference and includes a sunburst finish. The steel numeral appliqués are filled with SuperLuminova that was white as would be the three fundamental fingers. The time is visible in a sizable aperture at 3 o’clock made to look like an altimeter. The small moments are at 6 o’clock facing the 60-minute chronograph counter at midday.

The metal case-back continues to be etched having a Ju-52 and attributes the inscription “One out-of 500” in mention of pieces for this edition’s number.
